Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Intrakore collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers both our website and the Intrakore platform used by contracting businesses across the UAE and the wider GCC.

Last updated  19 October 2026 Applies to  intrakore.com and the Intrakore platform

1. Who we are

Intrakore builds construction management and ERP software for contractors in the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC. Our platform covers tendering, estimation, procurement, commercial control, site operations, finance and workforce management.

In this policy, “Intrakore”, “we” and “us” mean the Intrakore business. “You” means anyone whose personal data we handle — a website visitor, someone who books a demo, or a person using the platform at a customer organisation.

2. Our two roles, and why the difference matters

Intrakore handles personal data in two quite different situations, and your rights depend on which one applies.

Situation Our role
Our website, demo bookings, sales enquiries and marketing We decide what is collected and why, so we are the controller. This policy governs that data.
Data a customer puts into the platform — their projects, costs, staff and workforce records The customer decides what goes in and why. They are the controller and we are the processor, acting on their instructions under our contract with them.
If you are an employee of an Intrakore customer

Your employer decides what personal data to record about you in Intrakore and how long to keep it. If you want to see, correct or remove that data, contact your employer first. We will help them respond, but we cannot act on their data without their instruction.

3. Data we collect through our website

Information you give us

When you book a demo, email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we collect what you choose to share. Typically that is:

  • Your name and job title
  • Your company name
  • Your email address and phone number
  • What you tell us about your business and what you are trying to solve

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records limited technical information when you visit:

  • IP address, browser type and device type
  • Pages viewed, time on page and the link or search that brought you here
  • Approximate location, derived from your IP address at country or city level

We use this to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working. We do not use it to try to identify you personally.

4. Data held inside the Intrakore platform

Customers use Intrakore to run live projects, so the platform holds operational and commercial records: tenders, bills of quantities, purchase orders, variations, subcontract accounts, cost reports and site diaries. Most of that is business data rather than personal data.

Some of it is personal data, and some of it is sensitive. Depending on which modules a customer uses, the platform may hold:

  • Names, job titles, contact details and system login records for a customer's staff
  • Workforce records including employment terms, grade and department
  • Attendance and timekeeping records linked to projects and cost codes
  • Payroll information used to produce Wage Protection System files
  • Identity and permit documents such as passport, visa and Emirates ID details, together with their expiry dates
  • Safety and trade certification records and their expiry dates
Sensitive data

Identity document details and biometric attendance data are treated as sensitive personal data under UAE law. Where a customer uses features that rely on them, the customer is responsible for having a lawful basis and for telling their workforce what is collected and why. We process this data only to provide the service to that customer.

5. Why we use personal data

We use the data described in section 3 to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo
  • Follow up on a conversation you started with us
  • Send occasional updates about the product, where you have agreed to receive them
  • Understand how our website is used so we can improve it
  • Keep our website and systems secure and prevent misuse
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We rely on your consent where you have given it, on our legitimate interest in running and improving the business, and on legal obligation where a law requires us to keep records. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to function. Others help us measure how the site is used.

Type What it does
Necessary Keeps the site working — page delivery, security and form submission. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics and performance Measures which pages are visited, how people arrive, and which links and buttons are used, so we can improve the site. We use third-party measurement tools for this, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity and Bing Webmaster Tools. Some of these record general interaction patterns such as clicks and scrolling.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop you using the site.

7. Who we share data with

We share personal data only where it is needed to run the business or where the law requires it. That means:

  • Service providers who help us operate — hosting, email, analytics and support tools. They act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.
  • Professional advisers such as auditors and lawyers, where they need it to advise us.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or reorganised. We would tell affected customers before any transfer.

8. How we protect data

We take the security of customer data seriously and apply technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access to customer data is limited to people who need it to provide the service.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data and presents a real risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required.

9. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

For enquiries and demo requests, we keep your details while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. For data held inside the platform on a customer's behalf, the customer decides the retention period, and we follow their instructions.

10. Your rights

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and under other data protection laws that may apply to you, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you and provide a copy
  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • Delete data we no longer have a reason to keep
  • Restrict or object to how we use it
  • Provide your data in a portable format, or transfer it where that is technically possible
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within the period the law allows, and we may need to verify your identity first.

If your data sits inside the platform because your employer put it there, please contact your employer, as explained in section 2.

11. Children

Intrakore is business software sold to contracting companies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through our website. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes or as the law requires. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we handle your personal data, we will tell affected customers directly rather than relying on this page alone.

13. Contact us
